Here's the Scoop
The long scoop, at about 8 inches in length, is perfect for reaching down to the bottom of your Farmers First Coffee bag, while the short scoop is small enough to leave inside the bag for your next cup. Both hold about one tablespoon of ground coffee. They're handmade by Honduran artisans from the Lake Yojoa region of Honduras and are finished off with boiled linseed oil.
About Coffee Wood
In order to consistently produce high-quality beans, farmers must regularly cut-back their fields to allow for new productive growth. Normally this wood is simply removed and burned, with your scoop it's been repurposed into a sustainable, beautiful coffee-making accessory.
Coffee tree "trunks" tend to be fairly thin, but exceptionally hard and durable.
